Thomas G. Folliard

Tom is the founder and president of Corporate Finance Network, Inc., the owner of the Corpfin.Net web site. He has more than two decades of experience in corporate finance and development matters. In 1995 Tom founded Corporate Development Resources, Inc., a firm that helps early stage and middle market businesses with issues such as financial and business strategy, capital raising, retrenchment and business acquisitions and divestitures.

From 1989 to 1995 Tom was a Managing Director of Robert W. Baird & Co., a regional investment banking firm; and was founder and president of Baird Capital Partners, Baird's venture capital fund.

Prior to joining Baird, Tom was the V.P. of Finance (CFO), Treasurer and Controller of Bucyrus-Erie Company, a NYSE-listed manufacturer of mining, aerospace and industrial products. Previously, he was a consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick LLP's Washington, DC office; and a commercial lending officer with the Northern Trust Company in Chicago.

Tom received his undergraduate degree with honors (Beta Gamma Sigma) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a licensed CPA (Wisconsin), and a member of the AICPA and the Illinois and Wisconsin CPA societies. He has served as a director of several privately owned, early and later stage growth companies.
